NEET at a glance:

  • National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by CBSE for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in all Medical and Dental Colleges of India.
  • Admissions into the MBBS and BDS Programs in India is highly challenging and competitive. To get admitted into any Medical/Dental College in India by successfully qualifying in NEET, students have to excel in their classwork as well as develop thorough conceptual knowledge, quantitative and qualitative skills. The preparation for NEET shall start as early as 8th grade onwards and shall continue up to 12th grade to lay a proper foundation for success.
  • The NEET examination is conducted in one phase only, mostly in mid of May/June.
  • The duration of NEET Exam is 3 hours, consisting of 180 questions including 45 questions in each subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology).
