IIT-JEE at a glance:

  • Admissions into the internationally reputed Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), India is highly challenging and competitive.
  • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is the gateway to join IITs and other reputed Engineering Colleges in India.
  • JEE is conducted in two phases JEE-MAIN and JEE-ADVANCED.
  • The first exam is JEE-MAIN, conducted by CBSE in the first week of April every year, for maximum 360 marks.
  • The second exam is JEE-Advanced, consisting of two papers conducted by IIT council. Upon successfully qualifying in the exam, students will be admitted in different IITs, ISM Dhanbad and IISc, Banglore, based on their merit ranks.
  • Student can get admission in other reputed colleges of India like IIITs, NITs and other Central or State Funded Colleges through the rank provided by the CBSE in JEE-MAIN
